The heart is a bloom Shoots up through the stony ground There's no room No space to rent in this town You're out of luck And the reason that you had to care The traffic is stuck And you're not moving anywhere You thought you'd found a friend To take you out of this place Someone you could lend a hand In return for grace It's a beautiful day Sky falls, you feel like It's a beautiful day Don't let it get away You're on the road But you've got no destination You're in the mud In the maze of her imagination You love this town Even if that doesn't ring true You've been all over And it's been all over you It's a beautiful day Don't let it get away It's a beautiful day Touch me Take me to that other place Teach me I know I'm not a hopeless case See the world in green and blue See China right in front of you See the canyons broken by cloud See the tuna fleets clearing the sea out See the Bedouin fires at night See the oil fields at first light And see the bird with a leaf in her mouth After the flood all the colors came out It was a beautiful day Don't let it get away Beautiful day Touch me Take me to that other place Reach me I know I'm not a hopeless case What you don't have you don't need it now What you don't know you can feel it somehow What you don't have you don't need it now Don't need it now Was a beautiful day.

Sade 2019 🇩🇴❤️ my favorite song. September 9, 2019 5:51PM PT Liam Neeson and Lesley Manville's chemistry brightens a lovely but claustrophobic cancer drama Lisa Barros DSa and Glenn Leyburns intimate drama “ Ordinary Love ” loves to show health-conscious husband and wife Tom ( Liam Neeson) and Joan (and Lesley Manville) on their evening stroll, a contented retired couple walking the same path alongside a rather un-scenic, busy street. Until five minutes in, when Joan finds a lump in her breast and the pair gradually realize some roads must be walked alone. He belongs in the world of the healthy; shes increasingly more comfortable among the sick. During chemo, Joan dreams of a train ride where she leaves her husband behind at the station. “Were both going through this, ” Neeson protests. Shouts Manville, “No, were not! ” Their lives were already hermetic, especially since they lost their daughter, Debbie. If they ever had friends, they dont appear to now. In their airless house, any small change is noticeable, like when Joan adds a jig of Worcestershire to the soup. Theyre even slow drivers. Yet, theyre plenty of company for themselves, two people whose mouths are always in motion, delighted to mock-bicker over buying Brussels sprouts or going out for a beer. Tom and Joan tease each other with genuine affection — otherwise, when chemotherapy claims her hair, Neeson would never get away with the line “I never really liked your hair to begin with. ” Very little happens on the surface of Owen McCaffertys script, as everything life or death is taking place inside Manville. “Ordinary Love” has space to notice the details, like when Tom chooses to drink tea in the hospital cafeteria rather than hold Joans hand upstairs. A disagreement over whether to have homemade pork chops for dinner or go out for Thai is a micro-drama reflecting their diverging approach to illness. She wants to pretend everything is ordinary; he wants to do something. Watching action man Neeson face a problem he cant fix adds to the audiences frustration. Not that Manvilles character sees his agony — DSa and Leyburn only let him reveal weakness when hes alone. The film is beautifully lit and artfully composed — perhaps too much so, once the only colors in the film are blue, gray, brown and, occasionally, the shocking ultraviolet light of medical equipment prodding Joans body. When the directors allow one shot of green leaves reflecting on Manvilles face as the camera looks in through a window at her chatting with terminally ill new friend Peter (David Wilmot) we appreciate the break from the visual claustrophobia but also experience a ripple of annoyance that the film doesnt trust us to feel her emotions without it. David Holmes and Brian Irvines score is melodic and insistent, and it knows when to fall away into silence to let the audience appreciate Neeson and Manvilles superb chemistry. Hes so large beside her, he could put her in his pocket, as Katharine Hepburn swooned to Jimmy Stewart in “The Philadelphia Story. ” And when Manville quietly looks at him — whether in anger or affection — its beautiful. Seeing two characters who deeply love each other makes it more heartbreaking to hear Joan sigh, “Were all just, really, just on our own. ” Their romance is meant to motor our own hearts to be more resilient, but really, if this near-perfect couple cant talk through their problems, who can? After three weeks in theaters, Sonys “Bad Boys for Life” is officially the highest-grossing installment in the action-comedy series. The Will Smith and Martin Lawrence-led threequel has made 291 million globally to date, pushing it past previous franchise record holder, 2003s “Bad Boys II” and its 271 million haul. The first entry, 1995s “Bad Boys, ”. The BAFTA film awards have kicked off in London, with Graham Norton hosting this year at the Royal Albert Hall. The awards will be broadcast on the BBC in the United Kingdom and at 5 p. m. Every summer, more than 1, 000 teens swarm the Texas capitol building to attend Boys State, the annual American Legion-sponsored leadership conference where these incipient politicians divide into rival parties, the Nationalists and the Federalists, and attempt to build a mock government from the ground up. In 2017, the program attracted attention for all the wrong. Box office newcomers “Rhythm Section” and “Gretel and Hansel” fumbled as “Bad Boys for Life” remained champions during a painfully slow Super Bowl weekend. Studios consider Sundays NFL championship a dead zone at movie theaters since the Super Bowl is the most-watched TV event. This year proved no exception. Overall ticket sales for the weekend. 4 / 5 stars 4 out of 5 stars. There are strong, sensitive performances in a melancholic film about a couple dealing with the fallout from a cancer diagnosis ‘Ordinary Love is a film with a cloud-cover of ordinariness. Photograph: TIFF L isa Barros DSa and Glenn Leyburn are the two film-makers who in 2013 directed Good Vibrations, a tremendous film about the 70s Belfast punk scene. Now they have changed the mood for this desperately poignant study of a retired middle-aged couple, Joan and Tom, who have, over the years, come to terms with the deep sadness in their hearts following the death of their daughter. Now their fragile relationship is further tested when Joan is diagnosed with breast cancer. Is it too much to bear? Or has their existing grief somehow partly numbed, or inoculated them against the more commonplace pain of getting cancer in your 60s? The movie is written by Owen McCafferty and acted with impeccable intelligence and sensitivity by Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson. And although there are some slightly stereotypical weepie moments, the film has a strong sense of emotional purpose and Manville and Neeson – perhaps especially Manville – bring conviction and force. It is, perhaps, something we have all seen before in the movies when a character goes to talk to the gravestone of a departed loved one. But this film does something different with the trope when the couple are in the car and Tom announces that he is going to the cemetery. Joan, with deadly seriousness, tells him not to mention her cancer: “I dont want her to know. ” Ordinary Love is a film with a cloud-cover of ordinariness. Cinematographer Piers McGrail gives it a stark, flat light: subdued in the couples kitchen and dining room, and also on the seafront where they go for daily, healthy walks, Tom genially obsessing over his Fitbit and the number of steps he has taken – but a stronger and more clinical light in the hospital. Over the years, the couple have got comfortable with a kind of endless, soft-edged banter; its a language they have developed for amiable co-existence, and of course it crumbles in the face of Joans awful news, replaced with anger, recrimination and fear. There is a horrible, and all too real, choreography of agony when Tom and Joan are placidly seated in the hospital waiting area and Tom announces he needs to go to the lavatory; Joan testily tells him not to be long, because her name could be called at any moment – and course it is, the moment Tom has gone. The uneasy, uncomfortable wait for Tom to return from the loo so they can all troop in to see the doctor is an ordeal of banal embarrassment. But there is a kind of redemption when the couple unexpectedly see someone they know – and dislike – in the waiting room. There are, arguably, scenes in this film which are less than subtle – and there were times when I wanted something more indirect. But Manville and Neeson have a real empathy and intimacy on screen. Perhaps it is partly Manvilles presence, which reminded me a little of Mike Leigh, in films like Another Year. A sweet, sad film. Ordinary Love is showing at the Toronto film festival with a release date yet to be announced.

Plenty of bands combined shoegaze and black metal before Deafheaven. They were not the first to play bright, sunny black metal in a major key, nor were they the first to channel hopelessness, despondency and genuine human emotion. But no other band has done all this with as much passion, skill and cohesion. Sunbather put them on the map, and made them a target for genre purist ire. New Bermuda saw them expand their horizons, channeling metal of all persuasions and at times escaping the genre altogether. But its on Ordinary Corrupt Human Love, the bands fourth and best release, that Deafheaven reach transcendence. This is the bands definitive statement: a gorgeous, sweeping epic full of uncompromising beauty. Whats immediately noticeable about Ordinary Corrupt Human Love - and what single ‘Honeycomb hinted at - is the role that place plays in the records overall sound. It feels like California, full of sunny reverberance and oceanic malaise. Its a remarkably sad record, in the same way that so many California Sound bands of the 1960s were sad. Sun, beaches and high temperatures mix with the boredom and gloom of aging. Here, Deafheaven have more in common with Fleetwood Mac than Oathbreaker, theyre more Beach Boys circa Surfs Up than Alcest. All this is in large part due to Kerry McCoys ever-inspired guitar work. The bluesy soloing that sounded slightly hokey on New Bermuda has evolved into decadence, inspired in ways that are all but impossible to achieve for lesser guitarists. A good portion of the tracks on this album pass the 10 minute mark, and yet they dont move slowly or with proggy excess. McCoy creates lush soundscapes, shredding riffs and gorgeous clean sections that glide effortlessly between each other. Memorable guitar leads occur so frequently that it would be pointless to list them. Much of the success of metal lies in memorable instrumentals, and Deafheaven make some of metals hardest working bands look like childs play. George Clarke is in top form, sounding more confident than ever. His howls and shrieks are grounded by occasional clean vocals, including features from Chelsea Wolfe and Ben Chisholm on ‘Night People. On Sunbather Deafheaven fumbled with heartbreak; here, every track is tailor made for tears. Deafheaven have not just made one of the best metal albums in recent memory, theyve made one of the best albums of the decade, full stop. Its a powerful, honest record, and further proof that music always has new places to travel.

Welcome to New Years Day 2020. Its gonna be a great one.

Ordinary love watch online. Ordinary love watch online hindi. Ordinary Love Watch online ecouter. Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson are note-perfect as an everyday couple coping with cancer in this singular drama with universal appeal 5 / 5 stars 5 out of 5 stars. ‘Simply flawless: Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson in Ordinary Love. Photograph: Universal T heres nothing ordinary about this deeply moving, frequently funny and piercingly insightful drama from Belfast playwright Owen McCafferty, making his screenwriting feature debut. On the surface its a tale of a middle-aged couple facing up to a diagnosis of breast cancer, and a year of medical intervention. Yet beyond this immediate diagnosis is something far more rich and compelling – a story of everyday love between two people living in the shadow of grief, facing an uncertain future, both together and apart. Directed with wit, subtlety and great emotional honesty by Lisa Barros DSa and Glenn Leyburn (the co-directors of 2012s brilliantly life-affirming Good Vibrations) its a singular story with universal appeal – striking a very personal chord with some viewers while finding common ground with the widest possible audience. Ive seen it three times so far, and found it more joyous, heart-breaking and ultimately uplifting with each subsequent viewing. Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson are note-perfect as Joan and Tom, a couple living in Northern Ireland for whom gentle bickering has become a sign of affection – a way of saying “I love you” without having to use those often awkward words. At Joans apparent insistence, the pair have taken up walking, striding along a waterside prom to a designated tree and back – an attempt to stave off the inevitable aches and pains of ageing. “How does the Fitbit know youre walking? ” Tom asks his ever-so-slightly exasperated wife, before insisting that the exercise “ allows me to have a beer” despite her health-conscious protestations to the contrary. When Joan feels a lump in her breast, her husband tries to reassure her that its “nothing”, even after initial investigations raise cause for concern. “Well do whatever has to be done, the two of us, ” says Tom, asserting that “there isnt a moment I wont be with you”. Yet that togetherness will be sorely tested by a process that necessarily separates patients from their loved ones, frequently leaving Tom stewing in impersonal waiting rooms while Joan undergoes examination and surgery. “Im glad our Debbie isnt here to go through this, ” says Joan, referring to the lost daughter whose presence still feels real, highlighting divisions between the couples different ways of dealing (or not dealing) with the current crisis. Anyone with experience of a similar situation will recognise the pinpoint accuracy with which Ordinary Love depicts Joans journey through cancer care, right down to such tiny details as the weirdly jarring snapping sound of the mechanised syringe used to take a biopsy. Equally on the money is the depiction of the petty distractions that can accompany life-changing hospital visits – the moment of panic Joan feels when shes called for her test results just as Tom has disappeared off to the toilet; a tense exchange conducted sotto voce while queuing to pay for the car parking. Its that evocation of the intangible interface between the mundane and the monumental that lends Ordinary Love such universal appeal – the sense of down-to-earth characters quietly wrestling with the cosmic mysteries of life and death, love and grief, with a mixture of sorrow and laughter. Whether its a tragicomic graveside musing about the metaphysics of the afterlife, or an absurdist argument about three being closer to five than one on a sliding scale of probability (apparently drawn verbatim from an exchange between McCafferty and his wife Peggy) Ordinary Love brilliantly captures that strange sense of everything and nothing happening simultaneously – to everyone. Watch a trailer for Ordinary Love. Crucially, although the narrative is bookended with images of Tom and Joan together, the emotional separation they experience during Joans treatment is accompanied by an unexpected bonding with others who are going through the same thing – the “Normal People” of the scripts original title. One of Debbies old teachers, formerly dismissed as “arrogant”, becomes a confidante, a fellow patient with whom Joan can laugh about the indignities of chemo-induced hair loss. Meanwhile Tom (who is “always Tom”) makes a waiting-room connection that proves quietly groundbreaking, causing a subtle change that cuts to the heart of the films wider purpose. With cinematographer Piers McGrail and editor Nick Emerson, Leyburn and Barros DSa create a cinematic space that combines the intimate domestic stillness of Michael Hanekes Amour with an almost Kubrickian sense of alienating architecture during the accelerating hospital scenes. A beautiful ambient score by David Holmes and Brian Irvine proves as quietly powerful and moving as the film itself, like a randomly generated cellular lullaby. As for the performances, they are simply flawless, with particular plaudits to Manville, for whom awards are surely due. A wordless closeup of her face as Joan undergoes breast imaging will stay with me forever – in her eyes, we see fear, anxiety and a hint of loneliness, mixed with a strange cocktail of acceptance and defiance, and something that still manages to look like love.

U2 penned this soaring anthem specifically for the biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, which tells the story of the South African activist's early life and imprisonment. U2's relationship with the revered leader goes back to 1985 when Bono was part of Little Steven Van Zandt's 1985 Artists United Against Apartheid collaboration, which brought attention to his plight. Three years later the band recorded the song " Silver And Gold. which was inspired by the then still imprisoned Mandela. Bono went on to work on behalf of Mandela's 46664 AIDS charity, even co-writing the organisation's theme song with the Clash singer Joe Strummer. Harvey Weinstein, whose production company TWC is behind the movie, said: When I asked U2 to consider writing a song for Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, it was the fastest 'yes' I have ever received. I think they did a brilliant job honouring the man and the leader they have known for over 20 years. The song was the first new U2 tune to be heard since 2010's "Soon. off the 360 at the Rose Bowl DVD set. This won Best Original Song at the 2014 Golden Globes. "But we just had to do it, with the history that we have with the man and the cause. It was hard to stop what we were doing. drummer Larry Mullen Jr. added. "We were on a roll-it was clear where we were going. And a decision was made to abandon ship, more or less, to focus on this. To create the song, U2 obsessively tinkered and faltered before coming up with the end product. "We had three or four goes at it to get it right. Bono told Billboard magazine.
